Man & Machine Inc.
Man & Machine Inc. has been manufacturing specialty hardware products since 1982. Clifton Broumand started the company as a young entrepreneur and his innovative engineering and visionary approach of product development, always geared towards the best usability for those out there in the field, is bringing the company forward.
Located just outside of Washington, DC, in the American State of Maryland, our corporate headquarters’ current 1765 m2 facility includes corporate offices, a manufacturing facility, engineering facility, a Class 1000 Clean Room as well as warehousing and shipping. All fully sealed silicone keyboards in our range are made with great care at headquarters, which was awarded ISO 9001:2015 certification in 2023.
With more than 35 years experience in building and modifying LCD monitors, Man & Machine has developed key OEM relationships with major monitor brands to deliver a tamper-resistant privacy solution.
Man & Machine Europe
Our office in Haarlem, the Netherlands, hosts our sales, marketing and customer service teams and acts as a regional warehouse where we localise our various products and ship them in the best possible delay.
It opened on the first of March of 2005, when Clifton Broumand and Geraldien de Louwere-Schasfoort registered Man & Machine Europe as branch office of Man & Machine Inc. at the local Chamber of Commerce.

Based in Dubai’s Silicon Oasis, a global hub for business, a residential community and a specialised economic zone, Viro & Machine – FZCO started in 2025 to support our growing business in the Arab world with a local contact point.
About the founder
Clifton Broumand is the founder, CEO, and Big Cheese of Man & Machine, Inc. His passion for making technology work for the people who use it dates back to his academic roots in Human Factors Engineering, Ergonomics, and Aerospace Engineering. He earned his BS in Engineering from Purdue University Indianapolis in 1978 and a Master of Engineering from The Catholic University of America in 1981.
A true entrepreneur, he is frequently called upon by Washington, DC policymakers to advise on small business issues. With equal passion, he is a world traveler and a dedicated soccer fan, having attended over ten World Cup tournaments across the globe.
